Mom is watching Glee again, for about the 10th time. She's obsessed with Kurt doing the Single Ladies dance. She thinks it's the funniest thing ever. Can't wait for the next episode, by the way. If Emma and Will don't get together I'm going to freak out. Also, they are doing Somebody to Love Wednesday!
I walk everywhere now, and today was piano. By the time I came out, there was a rainstorm, but I still had to walk home. Actually, I had the choice to get picked up, but I wanted to walk. It was an adventure! It was brilliant! Nothing could compare to seeing just a blur and feeling the cold wind and water on your face. It felt great to have my jeans soaked and not to have someone yell at me. I was soaked, my contacts were coming out, I could barely see anything, I was freezing, my shoes were painful and I had all my sheet music on my back. But I loved it. Why? Because it taught me something. It gave me confidence. I was able to run through a major rainstorm! Also, it taught me something else. Homeless people have to live through that every day, with no jacket. And they go through it for more than 20 minutes. Plus, they don't have a pair of dry pants and a blog to come home to. It really made me think. A lot.
