Thoughts of the Day:
I was talking to my friend and Church newspaper editor yesterday. I had worked on an article and it sparked some controversy (it happens a lot) with the whole newspaper crew. Somehow we got into a talk about abortion . My friend Linda says she's pro-life and thinks abortion is murder, but believes in keeping abortion legal for medical reasons. I also agree with Linda, but I call myself pro-choice. I feel that if I support the pro-life movement what I work for won't go to someone who wants to prevent abortion, but just wants to take away the legal right for it. But by definition, am I pro-choice or pro-life? So I really don't know where I am on this issue now. If you can help, thanks. You probably won't because you'll find this blog boring and go onto the next one. I do the same sometimes.
Of course my class got out 15 minutes late today because of a hold up in Religion class. My friend Paul and I got into this huge debate about gay marriage against our teacher, who was making some comparisons that didn't make sense. I hate comparisons that try to trick you into believing their true. For example, in my Religion it book it says evolution isn't true because a nice car can't "evolve" from a bunch of other junk. Well, no s**t Sherlock! A car is an inanimate object! The debate will continue next week. Our teacher says the definition of marriage can't be changed. But when women began to vote it was still called voting! And the meaning of words is a much smaller issue in compare the undeniable right to marriage that belongs to any human being. Is that a good argument?

I know I lied about the State of the Union speech thing. Some parties and some other things I had this weekend lasted so much longer than I expected. Like, five hours longer than I expected. But I'll have it up ASAP! Even though it's kind of late. Who reads this anyway?
