Thunderstorm here in NY! I hate thunderstorms! Of course, my Mom loves them. Gabriel doesn't care, he still likes to snuggle with his mommy (even though he's 9 years old), and thunderstorms give him an excuse to. With all the old trees here, I'm afraid that a tree will just fall and crush our house. I hate thunderstorms!
So, turns out my Mom has decided I've put enough effort into my summer work and I will be able to go to the cooking class I wanted to go to for the last week of summer. Hooray! I get to see all my old camp friends. I have never cooked, so it should be fun. I've always wanted to learn how to cook.
You should not give my mom coffee. She starts insulting everyone. She just told me "the way you type is so weird.". At least I type faster :-P.
I only have about 100 pages left of Watership Down! The bunnies are now sneaking into Efrafa to find does because they just figured out you can't make more bunnies if you don't have female bunnies. The book is so sexist. The does are being treated like property. Bunny-Jesus, Bunny-Politics, and now Bunny-Sexism. So next, there must be Bunny-War. What are they going to use as weapons? Carrot machine guns. If they were to use carrot machine guns, the author would still act very serious about it.
I've still been cut off from society with no AIM. Heck, I don't even if my friend Sabrina is back from Florida yet.
My SHSAT work is improving. The math is pretty hard, but the ELA is so easy. I kind of have to admit the math they teach at the public schools is different than the Catholic school math. I do have proof! My cousin Max and Gabriel are in the same grade. One goes to public school, Gabriel goes to Catholic. Max has easier math, and Gabriel has easier spelling words. Oh well. I guess I'm expected to go to a Catholic High School so the math evens out in the end. But I'm working really hard at it and once you recognize the pattern of the test it gets much easier. My highest practice test score was a 592. That would get me into Stuy, the school of my dreams. The TACHS on the other hand, is easier than getting me to rant in the middle of religion class. And that's pretty easy.
I guess I'm going to retire for tonight, considering my 1/2 hour on my mom's computer is almost over.
