I Officially Hate Summer Homework

I officially hate summer homework. Watership Down is taking me forever to read. I also have to read A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, which shouldn't be that bad because I've always wanted to read it.(No, I didn't wait until last minute. I was in Germany for three weeks, and I had other things to do than read 500 page books.) But Watership Down didn't turn out like I thought it would be. I thought it was supposed to be funny! I mean, seriously, rabbits who have their own religion and speak bunny-language sounded really funny when my English teacher was telling us about the books on the summer reading list, but Watership Down is really dramatic and kind of creepy. This one rabbit starts to have a seizure- panic attack thingy because he thinks all the rabbits are in danger. I guess once I get into it, it'll go by quicker. I'm only on the 30th page. Can't wait for the Idol concert at 7:00 tonight! I am a huge Adam Lambert fan. I guess the tweenies got ticked off that David Archuleta lost last year so they stayed up all night texting votes for Kris Allen. God, I hate those freaking tweenies. I think somebody in the house is having a bit of a mid-life crisis. My Mom started listening to Green Day and tivo-ing Ruby and the Rockits. I'm joking about the mid-life crisis thing Mom, since I know you're probably my only reader and I don't want to make you upset. I'm just ticked off because I think Ruby and the Rockits recorded over The Daily Show. I went to the dentist today. I was so scared he was going to tell me I needed braces. Turns out my teeth are pretty straight! Yay! He had pictures of me when I was little, when I had blonde-ish hair that turned red and is now brown. I wish I could remember when I was little. All I remember is that my brother sprayed himself in the eye with window-washing liquid and I ate a play dough Tellie Tubbie. - Anneliese
